libnet-ldap-perl software package provides client interface to LDAP servers, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libnet-ldap-perl
libnet-ldap-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libnet-ldap-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libnet-ldap-perl *
You will get with libnet-ldap-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
